Where do we go from Here

As the veil of gloom slowly starts to unravel, the question that we're all left asking is" Where do we go from here ".

All of us, in our respective perspectives find ourselves the victims of the worldwide recession and ask ourselves if there's ever going to be a time like the one which preceded it. Whether we would ever find ourselves indulgent, in excess.

As I write these thoughts, the answers continue to be the very questions that are being asked.
If the world were to indeed become a brighter place, wouldn't I have learnt from my past mistakes in order to avoid them in the days ahead.
If I learnt from my past mistakes and take the conservative route, wouldn't I be the only roadblock that would divide the path to prosperity.
If I did so, then how is it that the days of the glorious past will present themselves again....

Here's the arguement

We all acknowledge that that once the credit crunch started making a lot more sense in the US, what trully drove the recession was the lack of demand in the market. The lack of demand, driven by the lack of avaialable monetary strength led to a lack of growth for the makers of goods and the providers of services. That in turn, led to further despair since these makers of goods and providers of services had to let go of their employees to be sustainable thereby leading to greater despair and higher credit crunch.....
So one would agree, that a conservative market can't be good news for the resurgence of the economy.

So the question remains " Where do we go from here "
